Caragabal Sportsground - Camping Welcome
Description
Caragabal Sportsground is a beautiful open community space surrounded by gum trees that welcomes campers in the rural village of Caragabal.
While in the village take a stroll to view our bird art, historical signs and call into the pub for a chat to the locals, a refreshing ale and a top feed!
Located on the Mid Western Hwy between Grenfell and West Wyalong, it is the perfect central location to explore, with Grenfell, Weddin Mountains National Park, Forbes, Young, West Wyalong, Cowra, Quandialla and Greenthorpe all within an hour drive.
Donations are gratefully accepted by QR code or cash, with all funds going back into the maintenance of the Sportsground and Caragabal village.
Maintained by Caragabal Progress Group - contact Kaz 0400809166.
There are modern new toilets and a brand new picnic table and shelter. Accessible to caravans and RVs. Camping in tents is allowed. You can stay here for up to 7 days.
