Leaders Creek Fishing Base is located approximately 1 hour drive from Darwin NT. It's most suited to self drive fishing enthusiasts with their own boat (or a hire boat) who want to launch at Leaders Creek Boat Ramp. For day trips, we offer secure parking for $20. You'll have access to amenities, kiosk (with ice, bait, refreshments etc), and we'll log your fishing trip, monitor your return, and can alert emergency services if you're overdue. We offer campsites or basic demountable accommodation for those who'd like to enjoy a longer stay in this fabulous location. PLEASE NOTE: We operate on solar/generator power and our powered sites are charged accordingly. We recommend unpowered sites, with your own solar/generator set-up. We use rainwater only. We don't provide 'hot' showers, water to refill vans, or wash down etc. You'll have super convenient access to Leaders creek boat ramp... just outside our gates. There's approx. 15km of sheltered waterways for you to enjoy fishing, crabbing, or just a day on the water. Appropriate vessels may also access many popular locations outside the creek... ie Vernon islands, Tiwi Islands, Gunn Point Blue Holes, Adelaide River/Willshires, Cape Hotham, Ruby Island and more.
