Description

Welcome to our peaceful bush campground on a quiet 25 acre block, just 40 minutes from Darwin and only 5 minutes from Berry Springs. Family friendly, kids stay free, campfires for cooking are welcome, and friendly dogs are welcome too. Whether you’re doing the Big Lap, exploring the Top End or looking for a relaxed base close to Darwin, Two Rivers Campground is perfectly positioned to slow down for a few days or use as a base to explore the region. Many guests tell us they love the relaxed atmosphere and feel safe here. Set up on a powered or unpowered site and enjoy fresh pump driven water with plenty of pressure, a washing machine, dump point and room to spread out. Stroll around the block, visit the veggie patch, feed the chickens, wander through native bushland spotting magnetic termite mounds and local flora and fauna, or kick back under the stars. Love fishing? Land based fishing and crabbing spots are just across the road and the nearest boat ramp is only 2 minutes away. Ask Dan for local fishing tips! Within a 5 to 7 minute drive you’ll find IGA, hardware, cafe, pharmacy, post office, medical centre, hairdresser and the famous Berry Springs Tavern. Perfectly positioned for exploring the Top End: • Berry Springs, 5 mins, arguably the best springs in the NT! • Territory Wildlife Park, 5 mins • Litchfield National Park, 30 mins • Darwin CBD, 40 mins • Kakadu day trip, approx. 90 mins Campsites Several powered and unpowered sites available to suit a range of setups. Please note Guests must have their own onboard bathroom facilities. Bookings essential. Call or SMS. Cash, Bank Transfer and PayID welcome. Directions From Cox Peninsula Rd turn onto Southport Rd. Drive to the end and at the T intersection turn left onto Mira Rd. First gate on the left, 230 Mira Road. We’ve called the NT home since 1996 and love helping visitors enjoy the Top End. Check out @2riverscampground for local places to visit and explore.
