Nature, Bush camp for all camping fun Bogie River via Bowen or Collinsville. Visitor note: a great camp away from the hustle and bustle of a caravan park. Stayed here over Easter, about 15 groups, well spread out. we're staying on after Easter and will be the only campers other than caretaker and owners. Basic facilities, best to be self contained, but if not, still great. River at back boundary, 20m from where we camped, apparently doesn't always run, but deep enough to sit in while we were here. Rule is dogs onleash but not strict, even encouraged to let our 3 well behaved dogs off leash. Hosts are fantastic. Locals come in and join in the fun functions. Well worth the drive out from Bowen.
