City Chicks Farm & Cafe is relaxed country café set on a 5 acre working farm in Samford Valley. Travellers, hikers, motorbike riders and families are welcome to stop in for coffee and simple farm food while enjoying views of the mountain range, open paddocks, grazing sheep, goats and roaming geese, ducks & chickens moving through the picnic table area. The farm also sells backyard chickens and poultry accessories as well as native stingless bees. The farm is peaceful place to stretch your legs on a scenic hinterland drive, with a Farm Walk where the farm animals can be viewed and a River Walk along the South Pine River where an abundance of kingfishers, wrens & hawks frequent the large trees. You may also spot the resident platypus. There is parking for caravans & large vehicles available and easy access from the road. Opening hours are 7am to 2pm Mon to Sat and 8am to 2pm on Sundays.
