Walk the Limestone Coast
Description
The Limestone Coast of South Australia is a one-of-a-kind region where ancient volcanic craters, sapphire-blue lakes, dramatic sinkholes, and pristine beaches converge in a landscape unlike anywhere else in Australia. Multiple wine regions and great regional produce from the ocean and land tantalise the tastebuds.
Only a one-hour flight from Melbourne or Adelaide or a 5 hour drive along the Great Ocean Road, the city of Mount Gambier is located on the slopes of a dormant volcano, known for its stunning Blue lake and lush landscape punctuated with sinkholes.
Beyond Mount Gambier the natural features and hidden wonders continue to the all the way to the coast or inland through the famous Coonawarra wine region to the UNESCO World Heritage Listed Naracoorte Caves.
Walk the Limestone Coast provides sightseeing day or two day tours incorporating short walks or a multi-day walk on the Aussie Camino.
