Set amongst a stand of large eucalypts, the Tolmie areceation Reserve is a popular camping location, not only for those just passing through, but also for 4WD and recreational vehicle groups as well as being a great spot off the road for families. Providing excellent camping facilities including shower/toilet block, electric BBQ, camp kitchen with fridge, sinks, appliances and microwave, plus kids playground, horse stables and yards and the large sporting oval it is the perfect place for a weekend getaway. Sites are unpowered and suitable for tents, camper trailers, caravans, motorhomes and big rigs. A fee is payable in advance via an honesty box. There is a mudmap next to the honesty box showing where you can/can't camp. There are speciic areas for horse groups Camping is allowed on the oval... please just not on or near, the cricket pitch. Bookings are NOT taken. Phone ahead only for large groups outside of peak times to ensure additional showers are unlocked. Tennis courts are available for hire and there is a great licensed Social Club open Thursday and Sunday evenings. Pets are permitted.
