It’s truly everything we want in a beach house. It is our go-to for a holiday with friends or our family of teenage children and dog in tow. The dog loves the winding path around the tennis court set on an acre of native gardens but he barks and runs around the tennis court when we play wanting to be involved. The rear garden is where we relax in the 10 people swim spa, always with a glass of wine in hand listening to the rustle of the trees and the possums overhead or just looking up to the night sky. So peaceful, so relaxing. And it’s perfect inside too, with four good sized bedrooms set up in two wings, everyone comes together in the central living and dining space to watch movies or relax in front of the huge fire in winter. As it’s so close to the Point Nepean National Park it only takes us 12 minutes to Monforts Beach or Spray Point. When we are feeling energetic we head to the Blairgowrie Cafe only a 20-minute walk or we settle ourselves on the beach and swim in the shallow waters watching the yachts bob up and down. At night we either head into Sorrento for a choice of restaurants or keep it local in Blairgowrie at the wonderful Panda for dinner and drinks.
