Description

$30pn 15 mins outside of Lancelin **for fully self-contained campers only. no kitchen or bathroom facilities available **late night (after midnight) arrivals are fine **arrival from 3pm - depart by 9am **summer UPDATE - the area has dried up unfortunately so we are not so colourful. and campfires are no longer allowed Pets welcome, although if off lead, they must be friendly with other dogs, sheep & wildlife There is soft sand in some areas at the front of the property, so depending on your vehicle(s) a 4wd may be required. Please contact me beforehand, with what you are driving/towing to check if we can accommodate Set on 8 acres - half semi-cleared at the front, half natural bush at the back (please see first photo) Owner lives in the main house at the front. You’ll find a peaceful, private spot further in near the beautiful native bush. You are welcome to drain your grey water on the property if no harmful chemicals in your products Ideally one camper at a time - 5 night max stay (please contact me if you are looking to park up for an extended period) It’s generally quiet here, apart from the neighbour and their dogs sometimes. Most of the time, it’s just the birds you'll hear. NOTE. There is ongoing tidying and restoring near the main house and shed, so it is not always presentable sorry! There is a small collection of 'junk' behind the shed which you may or may not see. If you’re not into bush camping and all the things that can come with it eg large moths and insects, snakes, ticks etc, this probably isn’t your scene. Please book a townsite. Please take it slow when turning off Indian Ocean Drive if driving through the night as there are usually many kangaroos on the way to our place. Maps may take you through the country back roads to get to us. If you put in 'Ocean Place, Nilgen' first, and then our address next, it'll be a much easier drive for you. We are then 5 minutes (daytime) off the highway (Indian Ocean Drive)
