Ridgeview Orchard Hipcamp
Description
Enjoy genuine farm hospitality, where you’ll be welcomed by both your hosts and our friendly resident animals. Located on the outskirts of town, our peaceful 9-acre property offers a chance to relax and reconnect with nature.
We offer two peaceful campsites set in our paddock, shared with our friendly alpacas, sheep, ducks, and chickens. While the setting feels wonderfully rural and relaxed, we’re just 5 minutes from Mount Barker town centre, making it easy to duck in for supplies or a coffee.
Our location is ideal for exploring the Great Southern — 20 minutes to the Porongurup Range, around an hour to the Stirling Ranges, and under 40 minutes to both Albany and Denmark.
The area is a dream for food and wine lovers, with plenty of local wineries close by and one of the state’s best bakeries just down the road — an absolute must during your stay. Whether you’re here to hike, sip wine, or simply relax and unwind, this makes a perfect base to enjoy it all.
Campers must be fully self-contained, as there are no amenities on site (a dump point is available in town), and we ask that you leave no trace. Come and relax in nature — we look forward to welcoming you soon.
