Closed for 6 months from 28 Sep 25. Located at the start of the Great Central Road, Laverton Caravan Park offers travellers a peaceful resting place at the beginning and end of the adventurous desert trek through the Cosmo Newberry Mining Region and Central Reserves to one of Australia's greatest icons, Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park. The park features 36 powered sites, onsite vans, family cabins and deluxe 1 and 2 bedroom units. UPDATE the caravan park is still closed as at 22/2/26. it will not reopen any time soon. When it does reopen there will be only powered and a few unpowered sites no other accomodation.
