On Track Mountain Biking is a company based in Busselton, Western Australia, right in the heart of the beautiful and iconic South West region. On Track specializes in catering to the avid mountain bike enthusiast, who loves the thrill of descending down epic trails they’ve never ridden before, or exploring that unknown terrain and landscape. Our tour and skill lesson experiences are for those riders whose idea of a perfect day is relaxing with a local beverage with other frothers after an epic ride, sharing a laugh over those funny moments or bragging about the new skills you learnt! On Tracks trail guides are also qualified experienced coaches, so those who seek to experience the flow and joy that a new skill can bring will get something extra from what we offer. They all have Level 2 PMBIA coaching qualifications so can teach you how to conquer the more technical features if that’s your jam. Here’s some background on our coaches. Steve is the founder and director of On Track and he loves seeing people of all ages get a thrill from learning new skills that give them more confidence and fun factor on the trails. He’s also very passionate about mentoring young riders through On Tracks Youth Development Racing squads, some of which have gone on to podium at a State and National level. Steve really enjoys racing Gravity Enduro himself. Among his results are the 2019 National Enduro Cup Championship for the 45-50yo category. 2nd spot overall for the WA Gravity Enduro (WAGE) series super masters category in the 2020-21 seasons, and the 2023 eBike 40+ category State Series Championship. He also dabbles in a bit of downhill, winning the 2021 & 2023 Downhill State Champ for Masters 5 & 6. Brendan Holland has been lucky enough to be around bikes of some description his whole life. He started racing BMX in the 80’s then found Mountain Biking in the late 90’s & never looked back. Riding has led him to live in some amazing places, namely Whistler & Wanaka (NZ) over the years, working as a bike mechanic, trail builder and guide, along with riding and racing trips all over the world. The 2013 Megavalanche in France was an absolute highlight for him. He is stoked to be a part of helping riders progress, from the early basic skills, right through to advanced skills & race craft. His most recent racing result was winning the inaugural State Pump Track Championship masters title in Albany 2023 Here at On Track we are all MTB frothers, and are so blessed to live in the beautiful South West of Western Australia, where the trail networks are growing all the time with world class quality trails… not to mention the many, many boutique breweries and wineries where you can get some cheeky ‘rehydration’ after an epic ride.
